OCR: Why is the B-2 more suitable for use against high value targets than an F-117? · The B-2 carries a more substantial weapons load. Yes - The B-2 can carry up to 32 PGMs and deliver 16 in a single pass, to within 30-ft of the desired impact point. The F-117 can carry only two bombs, so 16 Stealth Fighters would be needed to do the same job. Such a huge, and unlikely, F-117 package would also need extensive tanker support, whereas the B-2's unrefueled range is an impressive 7,255 nautical miles.
